Thankful Leaves/ Football

Well Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I am now stuffed to the gills with turkey. Yummy, yummy, yummy and did I say yummy!!
First, I took Jenna, David, Nicholas, Michael and Brianna to the annual Thanksgiving Day game (Bristol vs Morrisville). It was a toss up for me being that I graduated from Morrisville, Class of 89 and my daughtr graduated from Bristol, Class of 2007. Most of the other kids went to Bristol school for a while, but I cheered for both. It was the spirit of just being there.
We all came home and my husband , Brittany, Matthew, and little Zoey had dinner done. I really ahve to say it was soooo good.
I made simple leaves out of construction paper and we all wrote what we were thankful for, so here it goes in order:
Big Daddy: Thankful for the family being together and cooking together (sooo cute and mushy he is).
Momma: Thanksful for my hardworking husband and beautiful children.
Jenna: I am thankful that everyone is healthy and that we are fortunate to go to different places.
David: I am thankful for food, shelter, clothing and family.
Matthew: Food and Family
Nicholas: I am thankful for dad feeding us and my family and the turkey.
Brittany: Thankful for god giving us food and shelter.
Michael: I am thankful for my family.
Brianna: I am thankful for my family.
Zoey: Thankful for my brothers and sisters.

Conferences

Wednesday Nov. 18th was parent/ teacher conferences. I so dread them with every part of my body. Well, they all weren't great, but they weren't that bad either.

Britt needs some help in Reading, they said she can read anything put in front of her, but she had trouble retaining some or any of the information.

Michael is in a class with two teachers who say he is the sweetest kid who gives love and respect all the time. He is at a middle kindergarten level and he is in first grade. I do work with him in the summer, but maybe I should work a little harder

Brianna was tested in June(so was Michael, both tested beginner kindergarten level). She is now beginner first grade which is just where she should be. She is super shy and the teacher said when she is asked a question she looks away and doesn't answer. Poor baby. I don't think I would like to be in the hot seat either.

The older boys do not have their report cards yet, so I will let you know how they do. If you do not hear from me in awhile come find me and bring help I am probably laying on the floor in a fetal position (just kidding). I will take whatever they give me and try to help them through.

Any suggestions on any ways to help the little ones and let me know please!! Thanks!!

On Sat we went to our favorite place in the world, Hershey park we did the 3d show the tour and then the little ones got their picture taken with Santa oh so cute!!!!! My youngest is going to be 4 years old in December when asked what she wanted Santa to bring her she said a baby! The nice lady said oh a baby doll oh how nice.......Zoey then replied NO a real baby I want a real baby from Santa well you can imagine the look on the poor unsuspecting ladies face ( truly priceless). The lady then looked at Dave and I and said she wants a real baby, I then proceeded to tell her well we will start working on that right away......my husband on the other hand was as red as an apple!!!!! David is so cute when he turns red like nobody else n the world makes babies and now the whole Hershey park employees were gonna run and shout it from the roof tops. It was a cute moment but a sad one at the same time you see I made a huge mistake getting my tubes tied I knew it was a mistake as soon as they started, so now we are looking to untie my mistake.... so we can add a few more Peterson's to the world, when we are ready we are going to go to Kentucky to reverse my tubes when we have saved the funds needed. So please pray for us to save enough or to just win the lottery so we can just live our dream of more crazy, cute, wonderful kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Halloween~~~~~~ Brittany was a witch, Michael was iron man, Brianna was belle and Zoey was tinker bell which is strange because we never really watched peter pan or anything with tinker bell in it. We went around our neighborhood just two blocks and did our usual family dinner out together and then we did our candy hunt!!!!!! My kids had some fun with brittany's wig in the picture it's Michael and Matthew and Brianna. Michael's teacher such a sweetheart invited all her kids over for candy Michael really loves his teachers this year~~~~~ As do we. I feel super blessed this year last year was not so easy for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brittany's 11th B-day

Friday was my daughter, Brittany's, 11th birthday. This was her family party. She had a previous friend birthday party two weeks earlier. Me being the wonderful mother I am, I forgot a camera to take pictures of her and her friends. Instead of a cake this year, we decided to do birthday cupcakes, which I think turned out great. She decided to get outfits from her favorite store, Justice. I still can't believe that she turned eleven already. All my kids are getting too big, too fast.

Today was a very lazy day. My daughter and I took the baby to preschool. After we dropped her off we decided to go buy baking supplies and a movie. With all the supplies in my trunk, We picked up the baby and were on our way home. We made lunch and popped in the new movie, which was Tinkerbell And The Lost Treasure. After the movie, we made pumpkin cupcakes with homemade cream cheese icing and brownies. Today was also the Phillies pep rally at school for the younger ones. Today was a fun relaxing day!! Talk about tears as I sat in the dark of the movie theater with tears in my eyes,I so can remember those easy days and that's when it hits me wow are my babies really growing up!!!!!!!!! Cute, beautiful, perfect, sweet, angelic, innocent, lovable........But when the horns come out look out!!!!!!!!!!!!! My precious little ones Brianna and Zoey were in their room they decided to do a little redecorating( already redecorated room). My daughter Brittany left her tye dye kit on the floor in their room and let's just say my rug has a big reddish purple spot and a huge really pretty shade of blue spot!!!!! That's not all they squeezed the rest of the dye on Zoey's bed. Yes I was angry they spent a long time in timeout, super nanny would not be happy with me at all.In the end they are just really sweet little girls with horns on their head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

80's Music (HATE IT or LOVE IT!!!)

So I was on Facebook yesterday and one of my old friends brought me back to the 80's. She reminded me about our neighborhood pool and how they only played two songs: "Always Something there to remind me" and "Electric Avenue". So I went and bought both songs on itunes and blasted them in my van, as I was driving with my gang of eight kids, staring at me like I had four heads. As I giggled and looked in the rear view mirror at their faces, I knew it was clear that they thought I lost my mind. As we were in the van the next day, all my kids asked " Hey, Mom, Can you play that Electric Avenue song again?" Now my twelve year old son goes around the house singing Electric Avenue. How sweet it is to be back in the 80's!!!!
